Theses Supervision & Mentoring

During my time at RWTH Aachen University, I regularly advised Bachelor and Master students during their final theses. I am really happy that several students who I advised directly remained in academia as researcher and/or PhD students, even around the globe. Keep it up: Markus, Johannes, Liam, Lennart, Erik, and Christian.

Furthermore, I am proud to see several awards for their theses: KuVS Award of the German Informatics Society (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Informatik, GI) and the Information Technology Society of VDE (Informationstechnische Gesellschaft, ITG), Young Researcher Award of the German Association for Data Protection and Data Security (Gesellschaft für Datenschutz und Datensicherheit, GDD), Berthold Vöcking Master Award of Department of Computer Science (Fachgruppe Informatik) at RWTH Aachen University, and multiple FOLKS Awards.
